Oklahoma High School Basketball - Edison edges Jenks
(January 21, 2012: Tulsa, OK 74105) The Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK) basketball nipped the visiting Jenks Trojans (Jenks, OK), 45-43 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their test against McLain Science & Tech (Tulsa, OK). The Titans go into the Green Country test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, McLain Science & Tech was tipped by Roland (Roland, OK), 66-55, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Broken Arrow for a Frontier test on Tuesday, January 24. Jenks will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 64-46 non-league win over Hugo (Hugo, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
