(October 6, 2011: Thiells, NY 10984) North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY), 34-8 in a league test.
With the triumph, North Rockland improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host John Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, October 15. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 5-0. John Jay won 34-21 in their recent league test against Fox Lane (Bedford, NY)
With the loss, Mt. Vernon drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY) to battle the Admirals in a Section 1 AA - 2 test on Saturday, October 15. The Admirals come into the test with a record of 3-1.
