(December 8, 2011: Leakey, TX 78873) The Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX) basketball nipped the host Leakey Eagles (Leakey, TX), 48-41 in Thursday's league test.

The Crushers (10-1) will now prepare for their test against FEAST HomeSchool (San Antonio, TX). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, FEAST HomeSchool was tipped by Lanier (San Antonio, TX), 58-24, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harper for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Leakey will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 30-2 non-league win over Utopia (Utopia, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-3.
