Maryland High School Football - Our Lady of Good Counsel topples Bishop McNamara
(September 29, 2007: Olney, MD ) The
Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) football defeated the visiting
Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD),
28-13 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Falcons face the
Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) in a
Washington Catholic bout, on Friday, October 5.
Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their
24-6 league loss to
O'Connell (Arlington, VA).
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against
Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Eagles enter the
Washington Catholic bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout,
Gonzaga defeated
Paul VI (Fairfax, VA),
30-0, in a league bout.
