Oregon High School Basketball - Benson Tech routs Franklin
(January 24, 2012: Portland, OR 97232) In Tuesday's league outing, the Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR), by a margin of 81-47.
The Techmen (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cleveland (Portland, OR). The Warriors go into the 5A Portland outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Cleveland smashed Jefferson (Portland, OR), 54-50, in a league outing.
The Quakers now own a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Wilson for a 5A Portland match on Friday, January 27. Franklin will confront a Trojans team coming off a 54-53 league loss to Madison (Portland, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 3-12.
