The Bulldogs now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anahuac for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 27. New Waverly will meet a Panthers team coming off a 66-54 league loss to East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Badgers enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Lampasas was defeated by Connally (Austin, TX), 47-45, in a league contest.
