California High School Baseball - Santa Monica defeats Inglewood

(May 7, 2011: Santa Monica, CA 90405) Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA), 7-1 in a league test.

With the win, Santa Monica upgrades its record to 11-16 on the season. The Vikings travel to Culver City (Culver City, CA) to battle the Centaurs in a Ocean test on Tuesday, May 10. The Centaurs come into the test with a record of 13-10. Culver City won 14-0 in their recent league test against Morningside (Inglewood, CA)

With the defeat, Inglewood falls to 5-18 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA) to battle the Normans in a Ocean test on Tuesday, May 10. The Normans come into the test with a record of 9-13. Beverly Hills lost 13-1 in their recent league test against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA)
