New Jersey High School Football - Lodi nips Garfield

(September 22, 2006: Garfield, NJ 07026) Spectators at Friday's league match between the Lodi Rams (Lodi, NJ) and the host Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), saw Lodi's football team nip Garfield by a tally of 20-19.

The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, NJ). The Bears enter the Bergen/Passaic - King contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hawthorne nudged Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ), 32-6, in a league contest.

The Boilermakers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Glen Rock for a Bergen/Passaic - King contest on Saturday, September 30. Garfield will face a Panthers team coming off a 51-12 league win over Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
