Oregon High School Basketball - Scappoose nipped by Seaside
(January 31, 2012: Seaside, OR 97138) The Seaside Seagulls held off the visiting Scappoose Indians basketball team by a tally of 51-50 in Tuesday's league contest.
The Seagulls now sport a 18-1 record. They play next when they host Banks for a 4A Cowapa contest on Friday, February 3. Seaside will meet a Braves team coming off a 53-41 league loss to Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Braves record now stands at 2-15.
The Indians (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR). The Tigers come into the 4A Cowapa contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Yamhill-Carlton edged Tillamook (Tillamook, OR), 76-71, in a league contest.
