California High School Basketball - Beckman smashes Garden Grove

(December 3, 2011: Irvine, CA 92539) The Beckman Patriots basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Garden Grove Argonauts to 20 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valencia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Beckman will meet a Tigers team coming off a 61-31 non-league loss to El Toro (Lake Forest, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.

The Argonauts (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Lightning enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Sage Hill trounced Connelly (Anaheim, CA), 44-17, in a non-league contest.
