Texas High School Basketball - Carroll fells Guyer

(January 13, 2012: Denton, TX 76210) Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX), 52-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carroll upgrades its record to 23-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX) to play the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-19. Fossil Ridge lost 68-29 in their recent league bout against Keller (Keller, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Northwest Texans (Justin, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Guyer will attempt to upgrade on its 20-6 season record. The Texans come into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 51-46 league loss to Saginaw (Saginaw, TX).
