Colorado High School Basketball - Ponderosa trounced by Highlands Ranch

(February 7, 2012: Parker, CO 80134) In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Highlands Ranch Falcons basketball squad scored a big 72-48 victory over the Ponderosa Mustangs.

With the victory, Highlands Ranch improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO) to battle the Grizzlies in a 5A Continental challenge on Friday, February 10. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. ThunderRidge won 56-44 in their recent league challenge against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) in a 5A Continental challenge, on Friday, February 10. Ponderosa will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Sabercats come into the challenge with a 4-16 record after their 62-58 league loss to Littleton (Littleton, CO).
