Arizona High School Basketball - Central overwhelms Alhambra
(January 24, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85012) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ), saw Central's basketball squad trounce Alhambra by a score of 76-52.
With the victory, Central improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Camelback (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Spartans in a I Section I challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Camelback won 50-42 in their recent non-league battle against Skyline (Mesa, AZ)
The Lions (6-16) will now prepare for their battle against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles come into the I Section I battle with a 7-14 record.
