(November 23, 2011: Schertz, TX 78154) The Poth Pirates basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Clemens Buffaloes to 32 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host La Vernia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Poth will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 55-25 non-league loss to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-5.

Next up, the Buffaloes encounter the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 28. Clemens will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX).
