Texas High School Basketball - Boerne-Champion holds off Alamo Heights

(November 18, 2011: Boerne, TX 78006) Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team get by the visiting Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), 35-28 in a non-league battle.

The Chargers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hendrickson for a non-league battle on Friday, November 18. Boerne-Champion will battle a Hawks team coming off a 61-26 non-league win over Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 3-0.

The Mules (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Minutemen come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, San Antonio Memorial was nudged by Kennedy (San Antonio, TX), 28-24, in a non-league battle.
