(January 30, 2009: Charlotte, NC 28273) In Friday's league match, the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 54-23 triumph over the Olympic Trojans.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City test, on Tuesday, February 3. Charlotte Catholic will attempt to advance on its 17-2 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 14-6 record after their 68-46 league win over Waddell (Charlotte, NC).

The Trojans now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Mecklenburg for a Queen City test on Tuesday, February 3.
