(September 17, 2009: Eugene, OR 97405) The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the McKenzie Eagles (Finn Rock, OR) and the host Oak Hill Falcons (Eugene, OR), saw McKenzie's volleyball squad beat Oak Hill by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, McKenzie upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 19. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Neah-Kah-Nie won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR)
The Falcons now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crow for a 1A Mountain West bout on Monday, September 21. Oak Hill will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Southwest Christian (Beaverton, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
