(April 7, 2009: St. Petersburg, FL 33703) The Evangelical Christian Sentinels baseball team (Fort Myers, FL), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Shorecrest Prep Chargers (St. Petersburg, FL)

The Chargers now hold a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Admiral Farragut for a 2A District 11 outing on Thursday, April 9. Shorecrest Prep will confront a Bluejackets team coming off a 11-3 league win over Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL). The Bluejackets record now stands at 4-7.

Next, the Sentinels confront the Neumann Celtics (Naples, FL) in a 2A District 12 outing, on Tuesday, April 14. Evangelical Christian will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Celtics go into the outing with a 9-6 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL).
