(April 9, 2011: North Richland Hills, TX 76180) In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX) baseball squad the host Birdville Hawks (North Richland Hills, TX), by a final score of 6-1.
With the win, Saginaw upgrades its record to 12-16 on the season. The Rough Riders travel to Keller (Keller, TX) to battle the Indians in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 15-8. Keller lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Carroll (Southlake, TX)
With the defeat, Birdville falls to 13-12 on the season. The Hawks travel to Springtown (Springtown, TX) to battle the Porcupines in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge on Monday, April 11. The Porcupines come into the challenge with a record of 2-19. Springtown lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Boswell (Fort Worth, TX)
