California High School Basketball - Kingsburg prevails Immanuel

(January 6, 2012: Kingsburg, CA 93631) Kingsburg Vikings (Kingsburg, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Immanuel Eagles (Reedley, CA), 41-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Kingsburg upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Vikings host Exeter (Exeter, CA) to play the Monarchs in a Central Sequoia bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 8-6.

Next up, the Eagles play the Selma Bears (Selma, CA) in a Central Sequoia bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Immanuel will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 48-27 league win over Coalinga (Coalinga, CA).
