Texas High School Basketball - Brownsboro holds off Cayuga

(December 9, 2011: Brownsboro, TX 75756) Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), 34-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brownsboro upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Bears travel to Kaufman (Kaufman, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Kaufman lost 60-35 in their recent non-league bout against Lee (Tyler, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Cayuga will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 42-33 non-league win over West Rusk (New London, TX).
