(January 3, 2012: Arlington, TX 76002) In Tuesday's league outing, the Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX), by a score of 73-30.
With the victory, Seguin improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Crowley (Crowley, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Crowley lost 58-36 in their recent league challenge against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Everman will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 70-17 league win over Joshua (Joshua, TX).
