Oregon High School Basketball - Centennial overwhelmed by Sheldon
(December 29, 2011: Eugene, OR 97401) The Sheldon Irish basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Centennial Eagles to 15 in the Irish non-league triumph on Thursday.
In their next game, the Irish confront the Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) in a 6A Special District 1 match, on Tuesday, January 3. Sheldon will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 57-23 non-league win over Jefferson (Portland, OR).
With the defeat, Centennial moves to 3-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Barlow (Gresham, OR) to confront the Bruins in a 6A Mt. Hood match on Tuesday, January 3. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 4-5. Barlow lost 70-34 in their recent non-league match against Sheldon (Eugene, OR)
