Arizona High School Basketball - Dobson can't hold off Red Mountain

(January 24, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85207) The Red Mountain Mountain Lions basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Dobson Mustangs to 59 in the Mountain Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions confront the Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) in a I Section II match, on Friday, January 27. Red Mountain will attempt to better on its 18-7 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 13-10 record after their 84-50 league loss to Basha (Chandler, AZ).

With the defeat, Dobson moves to 16-9 on the year. The Mustangs host Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ) to confront the Tigers in a I Section II match on Friday, January 27. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 16-4. Gilbert won 53-49 in their recent league match against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ)
