(January 10, 2012: Houston, TX 77083) The Alief Elsik Rams basketball team scored 84 points and held the host Alief Taylor Lions to 43 in the Rams league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rams now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host MacArthur for a 5A Region III District 18 contest on Friday, January 13. Alief Elsik will confront a Generals team coming off a 44-36 league win over Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 3-16.

The Lions (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region III District 18 contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Eisenhower trounced Aldine (Houston, TX), 60-36, in a league contest.
