Washington, DC High School Basketball - Takoma Academy crushes Model School for the Deaf

(February 9, 2012: Washington, DC 20002) Takoma Academy Tigers (Takoma Park, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Model School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), 77-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Takoma Academy upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Tigers host Chavez (Washington, DC) to encounter the in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The go into the bout with a record of 13-15. Chavez lost 80-56 in their recent non-league bout against Pope John Paul the Great (Dumfries, VA)

Next up, the Eagles encounter the King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Model School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 71-59 non-league win over Yeshiva (Silver Spring, MD).
