California High School Basketball - St. Mary's Academy overwhelmed by Notre Dame Academy

(January 20, 2012: Los Angeles, CA 90064) The St. Mary's Academy Belles basketball team (Inglewood, CA), was overwhelmed 81-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Notre Dame Academy Regals (Los Angeles, CA)

The Regals now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Immaculate Heart for a Sunshine contest on Tuesday, January 24. Notre Dame Academy will meet a Pandas team coming off a 52-41 league win over Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA). The Pandas record now stands at 7-11.

The Belles (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA). The Saints enter the Santa Cruz contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, St. Anthony was routed by Lynwood (Lynwood, CA), 48-36, in a non-league contest.
