Kansas High School Basketball - Hitchcock County USD prevails Triplains/Brewster

(January 17, 2012: Brewster, KS 67732) Hitchcock County USD Falcons (Trenton, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Triplains/Brewster Titans (Brewster, KS), 48-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hitchcock County USD upgrades its record to 15-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Maywood (Maywood, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Maywood lost 56-34 in their recent non-league bout against Bertrand (Bertrand, NE)

Next up, the Titans play the Golden Plains Bulldogs (Rexford, KS) in a Western Kansas Liberty bout, on Friday, January 20. Triplains/Brewster will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 41-36 non-league loss to Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS).
