Florida High School Basketball - Timber Creek can't hold off Father Lopez

(January 23, 2012: Orlando, FL 32828) The Father Lopez Green Waves basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Timber Creek Wolves to 70 in the Green Waves non-league triumph on Monday.

The Green Waves now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Trinity Episcopal for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Father Lopez will meet a Tigers team coming off a 76-73 league win over Florida Air Academy (Melbourne, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.

The Wolves (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Creek (Orlando, FL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Cypress Creek was nudged by Wekiva (Apopka, FL), 64-47, in a non-league contest.
