(January 6, 2012: Waco, TX 76705) The Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), 52-45 in Friday's league test.
The Cadets (11-10) will now prepare for their test against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates go into the 3A Region III District 19 test with a 17-2 record. In their last test, La Vega got by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 52-45, in a league test.
The Rockets now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host China Spring for a 3A Region III District 19 test on Tuesday, January 10. Robinson will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 58-53 league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 12-9.
