Oregon High School Basketball - Tigard can't hold off St. Mary's Academy
(December 28, 2011: Portland, OR 97201) The St. Mary's Academy Blues basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Tigard Tigers to 44 in the Blues non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Blues now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodinville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. St. Mary's Academy will meet a Falcons team coming off a 47-42 non-league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR). The Falcons record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, Tigard moves to 3-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Southridge (Beaverton, OR) to face the Skyhawks in a non-league match on Thursday, December 29. The Skyhawks enter the match with a record of 4-4. Southridge lost 60-34 in their recent non-league match against Oregon City (Oregon City, OR)
