Florida High School Volleyball - Newsome over Robinson

(October 13, 2011: Lithia, FL 33547) The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Newsome Wolves (Lithia, FL) and the visiting Robinson Knights (Tampa, FL), saw Newsome's volleyball squad beat Robinson by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Newsome upgrades its record to 6-11 on the year. The Wolves travel to Jefferson (Tampa, FL) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 20. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

The Knights now own a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Riverview for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. Robinson will play a Sharks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Wharton (Tampa, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 19-8.
