South Carolina High School Basketball - Tamassee-Salem can't hold off Ninety Six

(January 27, 2012: Ninety Six, SC 29666) The Ninety Six Wildcats basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Tamassee-Salem Eagles to 80 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Dixie for a A Region I contest on Tuesday, January 31. Ninety Six will meet a Hornets team coming off a 44-26 league loss to Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC). The Hornets record now stands at 0-10.

The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC). The Blue Flashes come into the A Region I contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Calhoun Falls Charter edged Dixie (Due West, SC), 44-26, in a league contest.
