(September 22, 2011: Longmeadow, MA 01106) The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA) and the visiting Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA), saw Longmeadow's volleyball squad beat Amherst-Pelham Regional by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Longmeadow upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Lancers host Reading Memorial (Reading, MA) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 24. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 5-1.
