North Carolina High School Basketball - South View holds off Cape Fear

(December 29, 2011: Fayetteville, NC 28312) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) and the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), saw South View's basketball squad hold off Cape Fear by a count of 84-81.

With the victory, South View upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Terry Sanford lost 67-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Colts play the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) in a 4A Mid-South challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Cape Fear will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 62-51 non-league win over South View (Hope Mills, NC).
