Arizona High School Basketball - Chaparral nipped by Mountain Ridge
(December 16, 2011: Glendale, AZ 85310) The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions tipped the visiting Chaparral Firebirds basketball team by a final score of 52-50 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Mountain Lions face the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a I Section III game, on Tuesday, January 10. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record.
The Firebirds (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Dobson edged Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ), 53-52, in a league contest.
