Texas High School Basketball - Goldthwaite succumbs to Comanche

(December 9, 2011: Comanche, TX 76442) The Comanche Indians topped the visiting Goldthwaite Eagles basketball team by a final score of 58-39 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Indians face the Dublin Lions (Dublin, TX) in a 2A Region I District 6 game, on Tuesday, December 13. Comanche will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 6-10 record after their 65-31 non-league win over De Leon (De Leon, TX).

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wall (Wall, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Wall prevailed over Greenwood (Midland, TX), 35-27, in a non-league battle.
