Game Story

Pennsylvania High School Football - Central drops to Clearfield

(October 23, 2009: Martinsburg, PA 16662) In Friday's league game, the Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) football team knocked off the host Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA), by a score of 27-13.

The Bison (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA). The Bearcats come into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Huntingdon toppled Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA), 30-0, in a league game.

The Dragons now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Marys for a Mountain - Nittany game on Friday, October 30. Central will battle a Flying Dutch team coming off a 19-6 league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Flying Dutch record now stands at 6-2.
