(October 12, 2007: Fort Washington, MD 20744) The Friendly Patriots football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Potomac Wolverines to 0 in the Patriots league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 3A/2A battle on Friday, October 19. Friendly will play a Hornets squad coming off a 27-6 non-league loss to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Wolverines play the Forestville Military Academy Knights (Forestville, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A battle, on Saturday, October 20. Potomac will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 40-24 non-league loss to Poly Prep Country Day (Brooklyn, NY).
