(March 11, 2009: Vancouver, WA 98665) Columbia River Chieftains (Vancouver, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA), 57-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbia River upgrades its record to 19-7 on the season.
