New York High School Football - Aquinas Institute overwhelms Canisius

(October 7, 2011: Rochester, NY 14613) The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) and the visiting Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY), observed Aquinas Institute's football squad bounce Canisius by a count of 50-7.

The Little Irish now own a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cathedral Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, October 14. Aquinas Institute will encounter a Ramblers squad coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Ramblers record now stands at 4-2.

Coming up next, the Crusaders encounter the Cardinal O'Hara Hawks (Tonawanda, NY) in a Monsignor Martin contest, on Saturday, October 15. Canisius will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
