California High School Basketball - Acaciawood prevails Pacific Lutheran

(February 3, 2012: Anaheim, CA 92801) Acaciawood Golden Eagles (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pacific Lutheran Stingrays (Torrance, CA), 60-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Acaciawood upgrades its record to 7-14 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Bethel Baptist (Santa Ana, CA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 14-11.

Next up, the Stingrays encounter the Summit View West Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Mulholland bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Pacific Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 50-7 league loss to Los Angeles Adventist (Los Angeles, CA).
