Washington High School Football - Sammamish knocked off by Newport

(October 5, 2007: Bellevue, WA 98006) Newport Knights (Bellevue, WA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sammamish Totems (Bellevue, WA), 45-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Newport improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A KingCo test on Friday, October 12. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-3. Mount Si won 48-24 in their recent non-league test against Garfield (Seattle, WA)

With the loss, Sammamish drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Totems host Bellevue (Bellevue, WA) to battle the Wolverines in a 3A KingCo test on Friday, October 12. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 5-1. Bellevue won 35-7 in their recent league test against Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA)
