California High School Football - Taft sneaks past Saugus

(September 30, 2011: Woodland Hills, CA 91364) The Taft Toreadors football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Saugus Centurions to 21 in the Toreadors non-league victory on Friday.

The Toreadors now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crespi for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 6. Taft will face a Celts squad coming off a 38-20 non-league loss to Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA). The Celts record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Centurions face the Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA) in a Foothill battle, on Friday, October 14. Saugus will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record.
