(October 10, 2008: Woodland Hills, CA 91364) The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) and the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), observed Serra's football squad bounce Taft by a count of 49-13.

The Cavaliers now own a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Bosco Tech for a Del Rey contest on Friday, October 17. Serra will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 33-7 non-league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart (Montebello, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
