(January 26, 2012: Tolleson, AZ 85353) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) and the host Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ), saw Mountain Ridge's basketball squad knock off Tolleson by a score of 54-45.

With the victory, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions host Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Bulldogs in a I Section III challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-18.

Next up, the Wolverines battle the Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ) in a I Section I challenge, on Friday, January 27. Tolleson will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 7-17 record after their 70-65 league loss to Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ).
