Game Story

Arizona High School Football - Desert Mountain held off by North Canyon

(September 30, 2011: Phoenix, AZ 85024) In Friday's league game, the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) football team tipped the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), by a final score of 17-11.

The Rattlers (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Jaguar come into the I Section III game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Boulder Creek was tipped by Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 10-7, in a league game.

The Wolves now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland for a non-league game on Thursday, October 6. Desert Mountain will battle a Hawks team coming off a 20-13 league win over Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 1-5.
