(February 9, 2012: Lincoln, CA 95648) The Lincoln Fighting Zebras basketball team (Lincoln, CA), was nudged 67-64 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA)

The Hillmen now sport a 17-9 record. They play next when they host Foothill for a Pioneer Valley battle on Tuesday, February 14. Placer will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 81-67 league win over Center (Antelope, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 23-3.

The Fighting Zebras (12-14) will now prepare for their bout against Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Falcons go into the Pioneer Valley bout with a 10-16 record. In their last bout, Colfax nipped Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 58-50, in a league bout.
