Maine High School Basketball - Mount Abram prevails Lisbon
(January 30, 2012: Lisbon Falls, ME 04252) Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME) fans went home content Monday as they observed their basketball team run past the host Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME), 47-35 in a league game.
In their next game, the Roadrunners face the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) in a C West game, on Thursday, February 2. Mount Abram will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 13-1 record after their 74-34 league loss to Telstar (Bethel, ME).
With the defeat, Lisbon moves to 1-15 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME) to face the Seahawks in a C West game on Thursday, February 2. The Seahawks come into the battle with a record of 11-4. Boothbay won 65-42 in their recent league battle against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME)
