Texas High School Basketball - Allen can't hold off Plano West

(January 3, 2012: Allen, TX 75002) The Plano West Wolves basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Allen Eagles to 57 in the Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hebron for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 6. Plano West will meet a Hawks team coming off a 72-69 league win over Plano East (Plano, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 10-4.

The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Marcus (Flower Mound, TX). The Marauders enter the 5A Region I District 8 contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Marcus nudged Plano (Plano, TX), 58-45, in a league contest.
